Intuitive Navigation

Design your navigation to be easily understood and used. Make the your links look like they are to be clicked. Make them easy to find and understand. Don't use icons with misleading graphical depictions images that are hard to understand. Make all the navigational elements quick and easy to understand and use.

Consistency
ALWAYS use the same navigation in the same location and using the same interactivity on every page! If you change the navigational elements this will lead to confusion and disconnect the user from the familiar feel he had for you and your website and help develop frustration.
