websites have a mixture of color, elements,
layout, design and content that work seamlessly
together and emotes a positive feeling in
the mind of the viewer. In some of the
later sections we'll get into the detail of what
constitutes a good design that delivers
your message on target and in vibrant excitement
wrapper.

Notice the difference
between the websites above and the ones below that are
not quite as polished. Notice the difference in quality,
presentation and look and feel of the websites.

Notice how the title of this website is the name of
the company instead of the business they're in. The
focal point of the page is "Exceeding your expectations".
Expectations for plumbing service? Expectations of
on time package delivery? Your message should be the
most prominent feature of your web page.

This site is pretty bland and doesn't generate any
interest or excitement. The color scheme clashes
and there are no images! The web is a visual,
graphic environment so why not take advantage
of it and use some graphical metaphors to breath
some life in the website.
