You've exported your Fireworks PNG file to HTML now what?
Your HTML file consists of tables and table cells. Every cell has an image in it. Some of the images are just spacers or place holders for HTML text content. These spacer images will need to be deleted and the cell width and height entered to maintain the cell size. By doing this you greatly reduce the weight of your Web page.

Here's the process:

1. Open the Fireworks exported HTML file in Dreamweaver.
2. Click on the cell image that you want to delete.
3. Make a mental note of the image width and height in the Property Manager.
   See the image below:

4. Delete the image by selecting the DELETE KEY on your keyboard.
5. Without selecting anything else place the cursor in the W field of the Property Manager. Enter the width.
6. Place the cursor in the H field of the Property Manager. Enter the height.
7. Repeat the process for all cells whose content can be deleted.

In the sample above you would then place the cursor in the empty cell and start typing your textual content.
