If you need a detailed explaination of any of the buttons just click the <strong>HELP</strong> <img src="../htmlarea/images/ed_help.gif" width="16" height="16"> button on the toolbar.</p> <p class="copy">To start with it's a good idea to limit yourself to the basic features such as insert image, bold, italics and horizontal rule.</p> <p class="copy"><em>**The web pages will look fragmented while in edit mode!</em> </p> <p class="copy"><em><strong>How to use the editor:</strong></em></p> <ol class="copy"> <li>Click the <strong>NEW</strong> <img src="../htmlarea/images/ed_refresh.gif" width="16" height="16"> button to clear the stage of these instructions.</li> <li>Start a new browser and navigate to the web page you would like to edit. </li> <li>Place your cursor anywhere in the browser window and select <strong>CTRL + A</strong> from the keyboard to copy the page to the clipboard.</li> <li>Navigate back to the Editor and place your cursor in the stage.</li> <li>Select the<strong> PASTE </strong>button <img src="../htmlarea/images/ed_paste.gif" width="18" height="18">from the keyboard to paste the HTML code into the Editor.</li> <li>Make your edits to the page.</li> <li>Click the preview <img src="../htmlarea/images/ed_preview.gif" width="24" height="22">button to see what the final document will look like.</li> <li>When your finished click the "<strong>SAVE THIS PAGE AS..</strong>." button.</li> <li>Save the file to the <strong>SUMMARY</strong> folder.</li> <li>Repeat the process for future edits until the report is complete.
